Who are your competitors? What do they offer for what price? And how do you differentiate yourself from them?
1. Your unique content
You want to create a valuable and distinctive online course with didactic work forms. Visually strong and with a good storytelling component. Perhaps you also want to test participants on the acquired knowledge and award a certificate? The possibilities are endless. Two elements are a must have. In any case, ensure:
1. (Social) interaction
create interaction (moments) between participants,
connect coaches to participants or to teams,
as a trainer, provide feedback on, for example, assignments, and/or
organize collaborative meetings where participants can brainstorm.
2. Video… and more video
Think of animations or smartphone videos. Or do you prefer professionally filmed and edited material?
Need help?
Can you actually make everything yourself or do you need an educational expert, video editor or digital learning specialist? And are you the content expert yourself or are you going to work with one or poland telegram data more subject matter expert(s) ? Is all the content your own or do you use material from others? Then it is useful to delve into copyright of content.
Do you already have teaching materials? Maybe parts of a previous classroom training? A good time to think about how and where the content is stored. I find it useful to start in Word or Google Docs for text and links, because then you can endlessly edit and collaborate. But once I have placed the content in a learning platform, I add updates there. Then that becomes the source file, the latest version.
You already have a clear target audience, but do you also speak and write in the right tone of voice ? Consider offering your teaching material in a form that suits the recipient, for example audio as a podcast series or in video as a microlearning series?
A fresh start
'C rap in, is crap out '. If you transform bad content (spelling mistakes, badly written, dead links, produced without love, ancient examples) into an online course, the end result will not be fantastic. Not even if you choose a fancy learning platform. Maybe it is a good time to rewrite, update, enrich, make interactive something that you have 'on the shelf' in order to arrive at a valuable online course.
