Selfie –from the English self : of oneself– is a term commonly used to refer to the act of taking a self-portrait –photograph–, with the purpose of sharing it through a social network. A fairly popular custom among the millennial community through current devices for capturing images.

Some consider this habit to be a modern way of sharing the moment with all your contacts ; others consider it to be an absurd way of feeding the ego. The reality is that it is only part of the ways in which the different social networks are used today . Therefore, if you want to position yourself within them, a selfie may well turn out to be an efficient way of reaching a new generation of consumers.
