Numbers are not very important to me. But you already know that if you follow me on social media or if you are part of the Backstage team. I am not very interested in my statistics. However, every month I take the time to measure my activity on social media, my newsletter and my website. This monthly assessment gives me visibility on things that are working or not, on what I need to improve or change. Then, I adapt my actions according to the results and my short-term objectives.
Taking the time to regularly note down my statistics allows me to have an overall view of the evolution over the year. For example:
Instagram : I started the year with 183 followers. As I write hong kong whatsapp number data this article, I just passed the 500 follower mark. It may not seem like a lot, but I haven't done anything special on Instagram other than creating quality content. So I'm very happy with the growth of my account.
Pinterest : My pins were viewed 1000 times in January. In November I was at over 7000 views after following Julia's training (and I haven't fully applied her advice yet).

If you don't introduce the editorial calendar into your organization, you won't be regular in your content. It's fatal. When you have a business to manage, you have to think about hundreds of things every day. And of course, social networks or your blog take second place. It's natural. With an editorial calendar, you won't be able to forget because you'll know what to publish and when .
Mailinglist : I started the year with 76 readers. As I write this, I have almost 200 readers thanks to my various free content available on my site.
Website : if the number of visitors has increased, my bounce rate has too. At the beginning of the year I was at 60%, I end the year at almost 75%. I know what to work on in 2020.
These numerical results give me a good vision of my business, the things that worked and those that I need to work on. Then, I just have to align my actions and roll up my sleeves to achieve my goals!
