Sundown , which has been in Brazil for about three decades, is a pioneer in sun care. It has a wide range of products that range from protection, prevention and hydration for skin and hair for different market targets. The goal is simply to provide 24-hour sunrise images to all those who, for various reasons, are unable to see it. Pre-production for the project began three months in advance. Users were encouraged to share sunrise photos via social media and email using FLICKR through the group “ Sundown Screensaver – Endless Sunrise Project ”.
The group on the world's largest photography social network received around 200 photos that became part of Endless Sunrise . Since then, the project has continued to grow, offering images of the sun rising in one of the world's 24 time zones (GMTS), taken and shared by users. The site shows instructions for downloading, uploading and the name of the photo's author.
This is an undeniably successful strategy based on the power of consumer engagement with the brand and product, through different platforms and digital networks. The invitation to participate is enticing and sharing ends up taking on gigantic proportions, as everyone, at some point, will want to see their photos, photos of their city, of their moment, published on Endless Sunrise, via Flickr. More than selling a product, Sunrise is creating emotion , sensation and lasting relationships : “At this very moment, the sun is rising somewhere on the planet. Take advantage of that excitement, no matter where you are.”
Online and offline integration through the contemplation of breathtaking places. The internet is the last thing you will remember.
