Pivot tables for account quality score data analysis

Have you ever had the feeling that your AdWords account has quality score issues but you have no idea where to start optimizing? If the answer to this question is “yes,” then you need to calculate the weighted quality score at the campaign or ad group level based on impressions.

As a pro tip, remove search partner traffic from your analysis because it generates a lot of impressions with a lower CTR. Also, search partner performance is not included in the AdWords Quality Score calculation .

Download AdWords keyword data to Excel, with indonesia phone number library Search Partner Network segment
Delete all except these columns: Keyword, Campaign, Ad Group, Impressions, Cost, and Quality Score
Create an additional column: Impressions * QS
Create a pivot table based on this data
Use these pivot table rows : campaign, ad group
Use these pivot table values : impressions, costs
Create a PivotTable calculated field and use this formula: Impressions * QS / Impressions
Sort pivot table by impressions
By following the steps above, your pivot table should look like this:
