I won't lie, I love traveling. Mostly because it relaxes and rests me. Time passes more slowly, so it sometimes seems like a weekend outside of Zagreb lasts twice as long, while when I'm at home, it flies by before my eyes as I do my chores and the usual hustle and bustle around the apartment, alternating between my laptop, book, and phone.
Since it was raining and surprisingly cold last weekend, I couldn't go anywhere (and I had just returned from a trip), I canceled all my commitments and ended up not leaving the house for 2 days. It was great, although I wouldn't be able to do it every weekend.
What did I do? Spent 2 full days binge-watching the Netflix series colombia whatsapp list Clarita Diet. By the way, if you like horror comedies, Drew Barrymore, and zombies, this might be the show for you. It's not a masterpiece, and I have to warn you that it was canceled after 3 seasons (which is a problem because it ends on a cliffhanger, and the other problem is that I've given too much away), but it's a very fun way to relax and waste time.
What's the conclusion of the story? That it's really not bad to stay home every now and then, even if it's just when it's raining (because otherwise, I don't know about you, but I feel guilty about missing out on the sun and blue sky). I think there are better ways to spend time than watching Netflix, but at that moment I had a lot of fun, and I have to justify paying for the subscription.
It's fun to read a book, but many will wonder what else can be done all weekend without leaving the house, and make the whole experience fun, relaxing, and not regret the decision to isolate yourself from the world for a while.
I'm glad you asked because I'm going to give you a few ideas on how to spend a great and relaxing day without leaving home.

Organize a movie marathon
Do I think it's a good idea to watch movies and series all the time? No way, it's a waste of time and it's not healthy to sit around. Do I think it's a good idea to organize a movie marathon every now and then? Definitely! So start Netflix or get a month of free trial and spend the whole weekend in front of the TV enjoying your favorite movies and series.
If you're an extrovert, you can invite your friends over and have a mini slumber party. Tell everyone to bring a snack or a sweet and enjoy. If you're an introvert, you'll love the idea of enjoying a movie marathon by yourself. Order some food, curl up under the covers, and get some rest.
How to spend a lazy weekend at home and get a good rest and relaxation along the way?
