The study recently presented by the Utilities Observatory of Agici and Accenture, entitled Italy and energy dependence: diversifying sources and investing in renewables for a less constrained and more decarbonized future market , provides a snapshot of the possible scenarios that would allow us to anticipate the decarbonization objectives set for 2030.
In general, the research focuses on a series of interventions that push in the jordan whatsapp resource direction of a progressive liberation from dependence on gas. It now appears clear that accelerating the energy transformation of the country is necessary not only in relation to the delicate historical moment we are living but with a view to anticipating the advantages for the environment in the near future.
Claudio Arcudi, Head of Energy & Utilities at Accenture Italia, also includes digital tools in the mix of interventions and policies that can make our country system more competitive :
“Utilities and energy companies must create a virtuous ecosystem around land and offshore, in particular by focusing on wind and photovoltaic. Investments in renewable energy must be part of a systemic approach to decarbonization that is now possible thanks to digitalization. The Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data will be the critical success factors of this new energy system.”
