Inbound or outbound email marketing?
Have you ever thought about it? Although email marketing could be considered part of inbound marketing strategies, it can also be an outbound marketing technique.

Inbound VS Outbound
There are two ways of "interpreting" email marketing. First, outbound email marketing corresponds to the traditional (or rather old-fashioned) way of sending emails: that is, with little or no segmentation of the database, focused on announcing offers, promotions and other types of information that usually have little added value (in the end, more value is given to the interests of the sender than to those of the recipients).

On the other hand, inbound email marketing is perhaps what you already understood. There is a trend towards micro-segmentation of the database, personalizing the content so that it is relevant to the users. And of course, receiving advertising that does not interest you is very different from receiving offers for flights that you had already been searching for on the Internet.

It is quite clear that today, outbound techniques are far from it directors managers email lists being as effective as inbound email marketing can be.

This is due to a simple reason: users. Even though several companies can build up huge databases and prepare their mailings with fabulous promotions and discounts on their products, it is useless if the content is not really of interest to the users themselves.

That is why, for today and for the rest of our lives, we invite you to bet on inbound email marketing (unless your business model clearly works better under an outbound scheme...).

Understanding the nature of inbound email marketing
Inbound marketing is any marketing tactic that relies on attracting people's interest rather than "buying" them. This is in contrast to outbound marketing, which is any tactic that accidentally pushes services and products on potential consumers.

Inbound marketing is about converting people outside your company into active promoters or customers.

One of the principles of inbound strategy is the creation of valuable content. It is a subtle and progressive way of connecting with diverse audiences based on their needs and their searches for information on the Internet.
