Remove query parameters from URL

Post by udoy120 »

If we want the URL with the search parameter not to appear in the page reports in Google Analytics, we must check this box.

With the box checked, in the reports, instead of the URL appearing as.ou

This can be useful to avoid messing up the data and to have clean URLs in the reports. This way the URLs will remain grouped without having different variants with the parameters.

But perhaps we are not interested in having the URLs grouped since we would be indicating that a greece phone number library URL has had x number of page views when in reality some of those page views have been viewed by the search engine.

Site Search Categories :
If the website allows you to perform a search within the results of another search , we will also be able to view this data.

If for example I search for a category of products called mobile phones and once I have the results I can perform a search for Apple, then it may be a good option to activate this parameter.

With this option enabled, we must indicate the second search parameter. An example of a URL ws=mobiles&sc=apple, this URL indicates that for the search for “mobiles” we have performed a new search called “apple”.

The “sc” parameter is the one we must indicate in the Google Analytics configuration box.
